Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By requesting a subscription, accessing, or using 25MTC (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service on behalf of the educational institution you represent (the "School"). If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

25MTC provides a Multiplication Tables Check (MTC) simulator, intervention tools, and analytics dashboards designed for UK Primary Schools. The Platform is an independent educational tool and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the UK Department for Education (DfE).

3. School Responsibilities & Accounts

• Authorisation: You confirm you have the authority to bind your School to these terms.
• Account Security: The School is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of staff and pupil login credentials generated by the system.
• Acceptable Use: The Platform must only be used for educational purposes. Schools must not attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or disrupt the Platform's infrastructure.

4. Data Protection & Processing

We take data protection seriously. In accordance with the UK GDPR:

• The School is the Data Controller and is responsible for obtaining any necessary parental consents to add pupils to the Platform.
• 25MTC acts as the Data Processor. We process personal data solely for the purpose of providing the Platform to the School.
• Our data collection and protection practices are fully detailed in our Privacy Policy.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Access to the Platform requires an active, paid subscription.

• Subscriptions run for the duration agreed upon during the onboarding process (e.g., 1, 2, or 3 academic years).
• Invoices must be paid within 30 days of receipt. Failure to pay may result in suspension of access.
• All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated by law or agreed in writing.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, algorithms (including the Weakest Fact and Focus Mode engines), designs, and software underlying the Platform are the exclusive property of 25MTC. Schools are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Platform during their active subscription period.

7. Limitation of Liability

While we strive for 100% uptime, 25MTC is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, 25MTC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data, arising out of the use or inability to use the Platform.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement if the other party materially breaches these terms. Upon termination or expiration of a subscription, the School's access will be revoked, and all associated pupil and staff data will be permanently deleted from our servers within 30 days.

9. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
